Charlie Graingers Sandestin in Miramar Beach

Celebrated my birthday here. They were clearly following the Covid guidelines— staff wearing masks, tables spaced out. The place is beautiful. Food was outstanding, very creative and delicious. Drinks were also good. Would highly recommend

The food was great. Lobster spring rolls were incredible. I had the best scallops in a few years. The chef owner is from the new orleans area so he knows how to cook. Our problem was the dress code. It's perfectly laid out how they would like you to dress appropriately for such a nice restaurant. And in the description of dress they make sure to let you know they don't want to cut offs or flip-flops or any kind of Beachwear. We ended up sitting next to two different tables with gentleman wearing flip-flops and either cut off shorts or a dirty baseball cap turned backwards on their head. It doesn't matter how nicely you're dressed how beautiful your date looks when you sitting next to people that look like they're eating hot dogs on the street. I know it's tough for restaurants right now to try to get people to get out but if you going to promote yourself as a fine dining establishment you should have some standards on dress.
